LeCil Pressé Lashes: The Ultimate Guide to Getting the Best Performance

What Are LeCil Pressé Lashes?
LeCil Pressé lashes are pre-glued, eco-friendly lash clusters designed to simplify the application of false lashes. These DIY eyelash extensions come with a thin strip of pre-applied bond, eliminating the need to guess the right amount of glue. Each cluster is ultra-soft, lightweight, and made from biodegradable materials, offering a natural feel while reducing your environmental footprint.

Removing Lashes from the Box
When removing LeCil Pressé lashes from the box, avoid touching the pre-bond to maintain its adhesive strength. If your tweezers touch the glue, clean them before continuing. Some users prefer using small plucking tweezers or even their fingers for removal—whatever works best for you. The lashes are mounted on a separate card inside the box, which can be popped out for easier access if needed.

Accurate Application for Long Retention
Proper placement of your LeCil Pressé lash clusters is crucial for achieving long-lasting results. Unlike traditional bond & seal lashes, Pressé lashes should be applied as close to the waterline as possible without touching it.

Here’s how to do it for the best results:

  1. Pre-Cleanse Your Natural Lashes: Make sure your natural lashes are completely clean and free of oils or makeup residue. LeCil CLEANSE is perfect for this. This step ensures better adhesion of the pre-glued lashes and helps them last longer—essential for anyone searching for "long-lasting DIY eyelash extensions."
  2. Test Fit Before Final Application: Pre-plan your lash map using the guidance in your lash package. Hold the lash clusters up near to, but not touching your lash line to ensure you know exactly where your plan to aim.
  3. Use a Lash Mirror for Precise Application: A magnifying lash mirror can help you see the base of your natural lashes more clearly, ensuring accurate placement without getting too close to the waterline.
  4. Apply the Lash Clusters: Grasp the lash cluster just above the pre-bond with clean tweezers. Lift your pre-cleansed natural lashes with your non-dominant hand, and firmly press the lash cluster onto your lash base, as close to the waterline as comfortable. If you feel any irritation, you’re too close—remove and reposition.
  5. Overlap for Seamless Results: Each lash cluster should overlap the previous one by about 1mm to ensure a seamless look. After all clusters are in place, firmly clamp them to ensure the pre-bond is thoroughly interspersed with your natural lashes. This step is crucial for maximizing hold, which is key for users looking for "best DIY eyelash extensions."

From left to right: The First cluster is too close to the surface of the eye. This is going to cause discomfort and irritation. The middle cluster is in the goldilocks zone, firmly anchored at the lowermost base of the lash line with gentle contact on the skin. Cluster on the right is where a lot of people aim their bond & seal clusters and works well for those products. This will absolutely not work for Presse and is far to far from the waterline.

    Curing Process
Once applied, the bond begins a curing process that takes approximately 48 hours, similar to regular bond & seal lashes. Slow curing is essential for DIY eyelash extensions to ensure eye safety. During this period, the lashes are particularly vulnerable, so avoid rubbing your eyes, sleeping on your side, getting them wet, or using oil-based products. As the bond reacts to your body heat, it may feel sticky—this is normal and will subside with time. Just be patient it is worth it!

    Powder lock technique TM
If the bond feels too sticky during the curing process, you can reduce this by clamping the lashes with LeCil Seal on your applicators, then setting them with the LeCil set fan. Another effective method is the powder lock technique: lightly dust translucent setting powder or oil-free eyeshadow on any exposed pre-bond on the top and bottom of your lashes. Use a small eyeshadow or eyeliner brush for precise application, then reclamp with your applicators. Repeat as needed until the stickiness subsides. This has been reported as a gamechanger for many of our customers.

Customizing Your Lash Line with the LeCil Powder Lock technique TM
LeCil Pressé lashes were deliberately designed with a clear pre-bond to offer a natural look, especially for those with light or sparse lashes. However, the customization options are vast. By using the powder lock technique described above, you can achieve anything from a completely natural look with clear powder to a more dramatic eyeliner effect using jet-black eyeshadow. After applying the powder, clamp the lashes and clean off any spillage with a Q-tip for a flawless finish. This versatility makes LeCil Pressé lashes ideal for anyone searching for "customizable pre-glued lashes."

    Reusing LeCil Pressé Lashes
While LeCil Pressé lashes are biodegradable, meaning reusability isn’t their main focus, many customers have reported success in reapplying them. If there’s any remaining pre-bond, you can attempt to reapply the lashes. Alternatively, you can clean off the pre-bond and use them as standard bond & seal lashes. Feel free to experiment and see what works best for you—your feedback is always welcome!
